Excellent raincoat for my dog, I have also purchased these for my daughter’s dogs as they are of good quality, well made and keeps the dogs dry even with heavy rain. The colours are beautiful we got blue and pink, the seller will exchange if the size is wrong and is very helpful with getting the size right for you as I have found. I would highly recommend SurfDog. I have in the past also purchased the wrap around towels which are thick and have Velcro to keep the towel on the dog and I would also highly recommend these as well. I tell my friends how good the raincoats and towels are, very satisfied customer. You can see in the photo how well they fit my dogs, my daughter was waiting for the raincoat for her dog.
Beautiful aqua coloured and well made drying coat. But the material around the front legs is far too restrictive at least in the small size. It is difficult if not impossible for her to walk in it. I would suggest making the front seam into a v seam. Or have more material there somehow to provide freedom of leg movement. Also I would like to see a hole for a lead that attaches to a harness front and back, for those people who don't attach a lead from the collar. As it is we probably can't use the garments outdoors without a lead hole because we use a harness. The same applies to the jumper which also has no lead hole. The garments are beautiful otherwise.
thanks so much for taking time to give us feedback. I do wonder if the small is too small. and you should try the midi size? Plase get in touch if you would like to do this. Always make sure you pull the coat forward as far as possible before fastening the belt too as this gives maximum room at the front. We gave up putting holes in our products as they were always in the wrong place for someone. Both these garments can have a harness over the top. thank you so much for you kind comments we do try to make beautiful poducts.
Nicely made raincoat. My suggestion might be similar to the drying coat though. The front legs are restricted somewhat when walking because the material is firm around legs. May need a bit more leg room at the front. Also I think the hole for the lead is more for a collar and lead than a harness and lead because when you use a harness it pulls the head cover back off her head. Be better maybe to have two holes in the raincoat? One for collars and one for harnesses for those people who don't lead from the collar. It would be great if all the garments had a hole where you could attach a lead to a harness. As a lead can be attached to a collar through the neck hole of most garments, not so for a harness attachment. A hole for both front and back harness attachments would be ideal.
I am really wondering if you need midi? this is not something we get feedback as a problem usually... Our Freewalk raincoat has a leash holte and the harness can be worn over the top. Perhaps you should have Super Raincoat as this has a special opening for harnesses. I fyou would like to try one of these please get in touch. Please let us know the breed of your dog and back length collar to tail? Never a problem to exchangeor refund it is very important to us that our customers are happy.
They are very cute on her. It will take a bit for her to get used to them and get adjusted properly. At the moment she still shakes them off and I don't want to overly tighten them. I am hoping she will just adjust to them and not shake them off. It will probably be better for her as well when she gets her haircut :)
