- 8 sizes Shaped for each size, giving ample room for chests, necks, tummies. The hood is made with room for heads and ears. We price our coats according to amount of fabric we use in each.
- Surfdog Drying Coats are the only ones that don’t use Velcro. We make each size to fit. Velcro stops working quickly. We use a long wide snuggly belt that covers the tummy and ties easily on the back
- Tail hole keeps the coat in place along the back and reduces stress by not restricting tails
- Unique Deep Pile Microfibre (not like cheap microfibre towels!) like 2 layers of other coats. they do not absorb water. Instead, the fabric wicks water away from coat and skin, moisture is pulled through the weave with capillary action until it reaches the outside surface. Once exposed to the air, the droplets evaporate. This enables our coats to absorb up to 7 times their weight in water whilst remaining light. And dry your dog completely.

RAINCOATS FOR DOGS
Free Walk Dog Raincoats
We call these raincoats the 'Free Walk' as they are a little cape of protection which allows free walking without any restriction at either end! Easy to chuck on for a quick exit to walk in the rain.
The Free Walk differs from the Super Raincoats mainly because they do not have the chest panel. Some customers did not like this idea. The fabric is slightly different too. The Free Walk has an opening beneath the hood on the back for leash attachment. The Super Raincoat has a flap that opens on the back suitable for harnesses and leashes. You can attach a leash to a harness at the front when wearing the Free Walk coat but not with the Super Raincoat. You can wear a harness over the top of either coat. We made both styes in accordance with our customers requests
Free Walk Raincoat Colours
New Stock of Small, Medium, Large and XL now has a 2 strap system fastening.
The 2 straps cross over under the tummy, and fasten easily on the top. The cross over under the tummy gives cover from behind the front legs to the back legs, leaving room for toileting

Leash hole at neck for leash attachment
Hood adjusts at neck to keep coat in place, this stops it falling down the back, and keeps room at the front for walking and chest. Also stops small sized dogs getting their legs stuck in hood. Adjusts at front to keep hood over earsl.
Greyhound, Whippet and Newfoundland 2XL coats have a single velcro belt as we found this works better with these body shapes.

The Super Dog Raincoat has so many features as a result of feedback from customers. Every feature asked for has been included in our new Raincoats. These Raincoats run a little Larger than our Free Walk Coats so please double check your dogs back length. XS dogs are best suited to our Free Walk Coats
Please don't compare our raincoats (or our prices!) with the majority of dog raincoats. Compare our with the ones you will find in your local mountain wear outdoor gear. We are a bit Kat and and a lot of Du!
