The workmanship of this product is top notch. The material is thicker than most other products out there. Even if you are not blessed with a compliant dog, these should stay on with no drama, as the fit and design is snug but not tight. Our Mack had to do a lap of the backyard to show the neighbour dogs his new coat, he is so proud to wear his new outfit. Mack is a 52kg bull arab, and is wearing an XL.
We love his rashie! Fits well and good quality. Helps keep hair out of the pool and less water when he gets out. He also was gifted a robe and that is just amazing too! He stays in it and it dries him so well even with a double coat....
I have a little rough haired Jack Russell cross. Her skin is pale and her hair is course. The seemed like the perfect protection from UV, she loves wearing it, as it appears to remain cool yet provides protection. We are both very happy with it
Archie looks absolutely adorable in his surf dog rashie! The design is vibrant and fun, perfect for those sunny days especially since he’s hairless. Just a heads up: the size small is a bit larger than expected, but it still works well for him. Overall, it’s a great purchase that keeps him stylish and protected!

Absolutely love our rashies. Whether we are at the lake or at Comps I've found it helps minimize the amount of water his fur takes on, making it a lot easier when drying off.
Both my dogs small and massive wear these rashie, high quality material that goes back to original shape and can even wear it for a few days without it losing its shape. Dogs are always happy to put them on too. The big fella is 66kg and wear xl and the corgi is 24lg he wears med but I'm going to try midi next time just to help prevent him losing out while he is sleeping as I use his to help prevent hair in the house
I bought two garments, one arrived and it was faulty but the Rashie had NOT been sent in the same parcel.
When I wrote to Surfdog Australia I received a part-refund for a faulty zip on another product.
However, when I mentioned that I had not received the Rashie, I have been ghosted.
I would hope to have been reimbursed for the entire order considering the situation.
You did not report the 'missing item' with your intital email.. As we had responded to your earlier emails where you had not mentioned the missing item and immediately gave you a refund for the reported faulty item, we were not expecting any further emails.( This was a FULL refund, the cost of the item was $45 and you used a discount code and paid $40 and we refunded you $40) Not sure what ghosting is? But we most certainly would not do anything that would not give our customers a good experience. We will get your UV vest off to you by Express Post. We always ask customers to use our message link in store as this is the only way we can guarantee we see messages as we receive 100's everyday. Many apologies if we did not see the 2nd email.
Unfortunately sizing was way to big for my dog but quality is good

This is the third one I have purchased for my gawgess poochon Poppy in the UK Can’t find any vest here the same standard Poppy has an autoimmune skin condition and wears her vest daily .stops her scratching protects her from the sun and means she can visit her fav place the beach
The midi rashie fit like a dream on my whippet .The medium rashie for kelpies was too big across the chest area.
Our girl has a genetic skin condition and the seawater and sand give her a terrible rash all over her tummy !
She loves the beach and water ,so we are hoping the rashie will give her some protection and allow her to keep enjoying her beach visits !
We have the Surfdog towelling robe in Large and it’s amazing ! I’m sure the rashie will be the same when we try it out. Sara was so helpful in getting the sizing right .

Love the rashie for Chippie Boi however have you thought of making one with clips or buttons down the front to make it easier to put on?
I get it ofer the head but then have trouble getting each leg through 😏
Maje sure when you put on head you do not pull down back before puting legs in. You can also try putting one leg in before you pull over head. Also make sure the size is big enough? Our huge groodle wears this rashie and she has long legs but understand you do have to pull legs through. are busy making a new rashie with a full length under belly to chest zipper so maybe this style will work beter for you. Check back in a ciuple of months! thanks for your feedback.
My Rotty Mia loves her rashes. She has just had some tummy surgery and it’s perfect for letting the salt water in and the sand out of her sutures. Sorry no pic at the money.
Our pretty pup Paisley quite likes her rashie! Our vet recommended getting some UV protection such as this as she is a white Staffie X with the dog version of a fair complexion! We already use zinc on her nose as she loves lying in the sun. Happy with quality and price, and delivery was nice and quick.

A: Yes — the stretchy Lycra and sleeveless design let your dog move freely. The rashie offers sun protection while swimming, but it’s not a flotation device. It also offers high visibility in water.
Q: Which size dog rashie should I choose?
A: Match your dog’s back length, chest girth, and neck size to our chart:
• Small (36–48 cm back length) → small breeds: Shih Tzu, Dachshund, Westie.
• MIDI (48–55 cm) → mid-small breeds: Beagle, Cocker Spaniel, Spoodle.
• Medium (55–65 cm) → medium breeds: Staffy, Kelpie, Labrador.

Rinse after salt water or beach use → machine wash cold → hang to dry in shade. Do not bleach or tumble-dry. Do not iron.
Avoid bush walking as twigs and prickles can snag the fabric.
